External Visitors and Examiners of CILL
1. Prof Frank RENNIE
Prof Rennie is currently external examiner for the Educational Technologies Programme (2014-2016) of CILL. He is a Professor of Sustainable Rural Development with a huge interest in e-learning and educational technologies. He is based at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Stornoway, Scotland. He is also the Assistant Principal for Research, Enterprise and Development at the UHI.
2. Prof Noel CONRUYT
Professor in Computer Science at the LIM Mathematics and Computer Science laboratory, Sciences and Technologies Faculty of Reunion University, Saint-Denis of La Réunion. Noel has been a close collaborator of the CILL in the context of the Living Lab initiative for Teaching and Learning.
3. Prof Jack WHITEHEAD
Professor in Living Educational Theories from the Liverpool Hope University and Honorary Professor at the University of Cumbria. He is a pioneer of living theories in Education.
4. Prof Martin WELLER
Professor of Educational Technology at the Open University. His interests are in Digital Scholarship, open education and impact of new technologies. He has written some books, including The Digital Scholar and upcoming Battle for Open.
5. Prof Rozhan IDRUS
Rozhan M. Idrus is a Professor of Open and Distance Learning & Technogogy at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Nilai, Malaysia. Rozhan is the first Professor of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) appointed in a public institution of higher learning in Malaysia.
6. Dr Wolfgang GRELLER
Dr Wolfgang Greller is Vice-Principal for Research and Quality at the Vienna University of Education. Following his courtesy visit to the CILL in 2015, we are working on the possibility for joint collaboration between the Vienna University of Education and the University of Mauritius through CILL.
7. Dr Vikash RAMIAH
Assoc Prof (Dr) V Ramiah is an Associate Professor of Finance at UNISA. He received numerous awards for outstanding performance in teaching, research and supervision. Vikash has taught Economics and Finance courses at RMIT, University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and Australian Catholic University since 1999.
8. Professor Karl STANZ
Mr K J Stanz is Professor in Human Resource Management at the University of Pretoria and Head of Department of Human Resources and the Chairperson of the Teaching and Learning Committee at the same University.
9. Prof Frans COENEN
Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, he has extensive research experience, and is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Senior Programme Committee member IEEE Big Data 2017.
